Shuubh coordinates 150–2,000-guest, multi-day South Asian weddings: guest CRM, event matrix, family-scoped collaboration, event-level RSVP. Because your guest list is sensitive — families, household dynamics, plus-one details — privacy and data isolation are built into the foundation, not bolted on as an afterthought.
Per-wedding data isolation
Every wedding's data is isolated at the database layer using Postgres Row-Level Security (RLS). This means one wedding can never read another's guest list, events, households, or RSVP data — not because the application checks a flag, but because the database itself enforces it.
Shuubh's application connects to the database as a non-superuser role
(shuubh_app), with RLS set to FORCE. This means even an application
bug that forgets to filter by wedding cannot accidentally expose another
wedding's data — the database rejects the query.
Scoped guest access
Guests access your RSVP portal via scoped, signed access tokens — not permanent accounts. Each token is tied to a specific household within a specific wedding. A guest can only see the events their household is invited to; they cannot see other households' details, uninvited events, or any data from other weddings.
Tokens are time-bounded and cannot be used to access any other part of your workspace. When your wedding is over, the portal closes — no lingering access.
Transactional email over an encrypted connection
Guest invitations, RSVP links, and reminder emails are sent via Resend, a transactional email provider. All email delivery from Shuubh to Resend's API is sent over an encrypted (TLS) connection. Guest email addresses are used only to deliver your wedding's communications — never shared or sold.
We never sell or rent your data
Your guest list is yours. Shuubh does not sell, rent, or share your wedding data — your guest names, email addresses, RSVP responses, or household details — with any third party for marketing or any other purpose. We are not in the data business; we are in the wedding coordination business.
